Hello, friends! For me, spring is an extra inspiring time of year with all the gorgeous colors that are in bloom and nothing compliments the vibrancy of spring like the bright colors of Dylusions’ Ink Sprays and Paints. In this tutorial I’ll show you how I created a bold and sparkly bouquet of flowers, Dylusions style!

Step 1: Open to a blank dot grid page in your Dylusions Large Ledger Journal and lightly mist with water. Spray generous puddles of Dylusions Ink Sprays in Cherry Pie, Squeezed Orange, and Vanilla Custard onto your page. Close your journal and open it again. Blot excess with a paper towel.

Step 2: Place the Large Quilts Stencil on top of your page and mist generously with water. Allow the water to sit for a minute before removing the stencil and blot with a paper towel.

Step 3: Create a border for your page using the circle pattern from the Large ‘A Stitch in Time’ Stencil. Apply Black Marble Paint along the edge with Ranger’s Mini Ink Blending Tool.

Step 4: Cut images from Dylusions Collage Sheets Set #2 and glue them down with a Dylusions Creative Dyary Glue Stick to form a vase shape for your flowers.

Step 5: Dip the cap from your glue stick into Dylusions Flip Cap Paint in Black Marble and use it as a stamp to create petal shapes. Stamp 4 times around a center point to create flowers. You can make as few or as many as you like!

Step 6: When the flower shapes are dry use a small paintbrush to “paint” water inside your petal shapes. Allow the water to sit for a few minutes, then blot with a paper towel to lift the ink.

Step 7: Paint your flowers with Dylusions Flip Cap Paint in Lemon Drop. Apply a few coats if desired.

Step 8: With Flip Cap Paint in Dirty Martini and a small brush, create stems and small leaves for your flowers and add some splatters across the page.

Step 9: With the Black and White Posca Pens, create details on your page by outlining the vase, border, and stems. Draw black circles for the center of the flowers and add a quote.

Step 10: Add some extra dazzle to your flowers with Dylusions Stardust Stickles to complete your page!
